Simplified set up, automation, 3D effects, this new large format series should offer more productivity and applications.

Cannon launches Arizona 2300. This series of six UV LED flatbed tables for the large-format market has been designed for high-speed, varied and high value-added production without masking. Quicker set-up of print media With Arizona Flow technology, productivity increases by more than 20% over previous generations of Arizona printers. The Arizona Flow is based on a vacuum system that combines a zero-zone, multi-zone table with pneumatic register pins to hold media. A camera aligns the printheads and maps the table. "Since the operator doesn't need to hide the table or fix the stand, switching from one run to another is faster and easier, and adjustments are faster." explains the builder. This technology was spotted by the Keypoint Intelligence design office, which this month awarded the Buyers Lab (BLI) Outstanding Innovation 2021 for this large format printer. Thanks to the fully robotic workflow with automatic plate loading and unloading, printing can be carried out without interruption or the need for monitoring. This results in an output of up to 95 m 2 on time.

Variety of media and 3D effects with the Arizona 2300 Flexibility was also studied. This new range can handle many rigid supports, such as cardboard , glass, wood, tiles, canvas or hard plastic, but also, as an option, supports in rolls up to 220 cm wide, including fine heat-sensitive materials. In addition, the Arizona 2300 allows you to create textures up to 1mm thick with Canon's Touchstone software, which is an extension of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator . Textures can be created with relief ink or relief varnish for richer visual applications or functional applications such as Braille.

Minimum ink consumption and manual maintenance Canon also worked on consumables consumption and maintenance. Ink consumption is now less than 8 ml/m 2 including maintenance. And the printhead maintenance system is automated. It restores nozzle operation within seconds. The UV inks are UL Greenguard Gold certified, allowing for the production of printed materials for schools and hospitals.

The Canon Arizona 2300 Series: two sizes, six models The new Arizona 2300 Series, in two sizes, offers three ink channel options (4, 6 or 8 channel) for adding white or varnish. It features three compact GTF models with a 1.25 x 2.5 m print area: Arizona 2340 GTF, 2360 GTF and 2380 GTF. And it also includes three large format XTF models with a print area of 2.5 x 3.08 m: Arizona 2340 XTF, 2360 XTF and 2380 XTF. "We believe that the Arizona 2300 Series will enable our customers to process more applications and explore new business opportunities with operational excellence to open up new growth opportunities, says St閜hane Ritoux, Large Format Sales Director at Canon France. By welcoming this new series of flatbed printers to our range, alongside our Colorado reel-to-reel models with UVgel technology, we now have a line of large format solutions to suit everyone's needs"
