Octopus™ uses SCITOP's patented micro suction technology: thousands of microscopic suction cups on the film's backing create a gentle vacuum grip on clean, smooth, flat surfaces such as glass and metal — no chemical adhesive, so it repositions and reuses easily and leaves no residue within its shelf life for indoor use.
Q2Can Octopus™ film be reused after removal?
Yes. Because Octopus™ clings by micro suction rather than glue, it is removable, repositionable and reusable — you can peel it off, move it to another clean smooth surface and reapply it. Keep the suction side clean for best grip.
Q3What surfaces is Octopus™ film suitable for?
Octopus™ suits most clean, smooth and flat surfaces such as glass and metal panels. It is intended for indoor use away from strong direct light, and is not recommended for acrylic display surfaces.
Q4Does Octopus™ film apply bubble-free?
Yes — the micro suction structure vents air during application, so Octopus™ applies bubble-free with a simple scraper. No water or skilled installer is needed: position the film, then squeegee evenly from one narrow edge to the other.
